Automation Engineer

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join one of our projects:

Project: HAIFA, Israel

Location: Haifa, Israel

Start Date: September 2026

Duration: 3 months

Mission

• Perform Project technical tasks assigned by the Project Discipline Lead / Automation Lead consisting in design, checking, validation, testing and engineering of Automation Systems

• Interface and coordinate with the other Project Team Specialists and Designers

• Coordinate technical activities performed either by insourcing either by outsourcing

Tasks

• Execute activities within own Automation area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements

  • A - Development Technology know-how and Commercial support
  • B - Feasibility
  • C - Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development

• Prepare Automation and Advanced Control Systems quantities for cost and erection works estimates

• Support Discipline Lead to define man hours and cost estimates

  • D - Project Execution

• Review Client technical documentation and requirements

• Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted engineering documents

• Define engineering design basis and guidelines

• Prepare the technical documentation for Automation and Advanced Control Systems material and services requisitions and prepare, according to internal procedures, the technical evaluations

• Provide technical support to Project Team

• Optimise Automation and Advanced Control Systems design ensuring minimal cost and complexity in compliance with the contractual and safety requirements

• Prepare Automation and Advanced Control Systems supply specifications

• Participate to P and ID mechanization

• Validate Vendor Automation and Advanced Control Systems functional design specifications and participate to detail configuration documents definition

• Validate Vendor Automation and Advanced Control Systems BOQs

• Coordinate detail engineering activities and ensure proper installation drawings definition

• Participates to F.A.T. activities ad Vendor workshop

  • E - Construction and start-up

• Participate to Site Acceptance Test, loop checks and functional checks

• Provide technical and engineering support to construction Team

• Perform site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases

Languages: English Language skills required (and any other specified by Project)
