Acts as a deputy plant manager in all departments: production, quality and utilities. Ensures that safety and quality requirements are met based on Al Ahram Beverage Company and global Heineken standards.
Manages all activities related to the safety of the plant.
Conducts regular quality checks on the finished products.
Manages packaging, production and utilities.
Sets the periodic maintenance plan in collaboration with the maintenance specialist and planning engineer as part of a weekly plan to sustain production.
Seeks ways to enhance the production line and stays up-to-date on any relevant technological advancements.
Handles programmable line control by accessing the PLC monitor and resolving issues accordingly.
Checks and ensures spare parts’ availability in the warehouses.
Creates a daily report on the production line’ performance, safety and quality.
Develops weekly performance and budget reports.
Reviews weekly tasks with the management team.
Allocates tasks to the technicians based on the maintenance plan set in collaboration with the maintenance engineer and planning specialist.
Monitors the performance of technicians and operators and identifies areas of improvement. Seeks constant skill enhancement across the team.
Conducts a weekly audit on the tasks performed by technicians and operators.
Analyzes any technical issues in collaboration with the team to identify the root cause and resolve it.
Develops and submits all required reports in a timely manner.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering and/or similar
4-6 years of experience in maintenance (engineering) and/or operations and improving maintenance performance.
Excellent command of English Language
Skills in Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint)
Knowledge in TPM
Provide and sustain a safe environment for employees, contractors and visitors by driving HEINEKEN’s safety through risk reduction, continuous improvement and change management programs
Implement the HEINEKEN Supply Chain environmental sustainability agenda in all related processes.
Translate the E2E opco/Brewery vision and strategy into department strategy, objectives, priorities, and targets, and build ownership and commitment.
Manage the utilities process and achieve execution of the plan by ensuring optimal engagement of people and overseeing the interfaces with other production processes.
Contribute to financial performance and value creation for the business, through managing costs and the financial impact of decisions within their own area of responsibility.
Develop the people and the organization within their own area of responsibility and in line with the relevant organizational strategy.
Manage, improve, and sustain planned and predictive maintenance activities to sustain effective and efficient asset performance.
Ensure spare parts availability in a way that maximizes cost-effectiveness of the assets.
Effectively coordinate, control, and improve the execution of maintenance work.
Manage a project by developing an accurate plan, defining clear scope, and allocating sufficient resources to achieve specific goals On Time in Full (OTIF) and within budget.
Train and support AM teams in achieving, sustaining and improving basic equipment condition. Make innovations to the process where applicable.
