Job Description Summary:
As an Engineering Stores Specialist based on-site at Coca‑Cola Ballina, you will play a key role in maintaining the availability and accuracy of critical spare parts and materials that keep our Operations operating at their best. This is a hands-on, plant-based role that combines inventory management, technical coordination, and close collaboration with maintenance, production, and finance teams. What You’ll Do for Us
Source spare parts and negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Receive, inspect, and correctly store deliveries within the engineering stores.
Set up and maintain material master data in SAP, including prices and reorder levels.
Process goods movements and manage returns for repair or refurbishment.
Perform monthly cycle counts and resolve any inventory discrepancies promptly.
Maintain organized records of supplier quotes, purchase documentation, and monthly metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—maintenance, production, warehouse, and finance—to ensure smooth plant operations.
Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice or freight queries.
Requirements & Qualifications
National Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years’ experience in inventory, engineering stores, or plant-based manufacturing operations; food or pharma experience is an advantage.
Strong working knowledge of SAP (materials management and maintenance) and MS Office tools.
Basic understanding of engineering parts and components to manage vendor and technical team interactions.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work in a compliance-driven environment with audit and reporting requirements.
Digital fluency and ability to use data to improve accuracy and efficiency.
