About the position

As an Automation Engineer at Kraft Heinz Utrecht, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and processes in our production facility. You are the specialist in the team for everything related to automation, including PLCs, SCADA systems, robotics, and industrial networks. In addition, you are also responsible for ensuring electrical safety and complying with relevant laws and regulations.

Your responsibilities and result criteria

• Design, implement, and maintain automated systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity

• Analyze and resolve malfunctions, and support colleagues with complex technical problems

• Develop and manage preventive maintenance plans and electrical safety protocols

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure integration and sustainability

• Ensure timely and correct execution of maintenance and repairs

• Improve electrical safety and comply with relevant laws and regulations

What do you bring?

• HBO education in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field

• 3-5 years of work experience in the technical process industry

• Strong knowledge of automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks

• Experience with project management and implementation

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems

• Good command of the Dutch language (speaking, writing, and reading)
