Job Description

• Develop wet multi-plate brake/clutch components from concept design to series production.

• Design and optimize friction packs, cooling and lubrication systems to meet torque, thermal, durability, wear and NVH requirements.

• Create and release 3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T, BOMs and technical documentation.

• Define and validate friction materials, lubrication concepts and component interfaces through simulation and testing.

• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to friction performance, thermal behavior, wear, drag torque and durability using structured root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with simulation, testing, manufacturing, suppliers and vehicle integration teams throughout product development and industrialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field.

• Experience in wet multi-plate brakes, clutches or comparable wet friction systems.

• Strong knowledge of tribology, friction materials, lubrication, thermal management and cooling systems.

• Experience in torque sizing, tolerance design, durability and NVH optimization.

• Proficient in Siemens NX (or equivalent CAD), GD&T and automotive development processes (APQP, DFMEA, DVP&R).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
