At this moment, we are looking for a Digital Transformation & Automation Specialist whose main mission will be to promote the digitalization, automation, and optimization of processes in the Energy department, acting as a key link between the different areas of the department, SCADA, and IT to move towards a more digital model. 100% On-site vacancy.

Main functions:

• Transformation of manual processes into digital, integrated, and auditable processes

• Design and development of automations for reporting, operational control, forecasts, deviations, and communication with the delegated dispatch.

• Integration and connection between SCADA, EMS, market platforms, internal tools, and delegated dispatch systems.

• Creation of solutions in Python, SQL, APIs and automated flows, integrating generative AI and analytical capabilities to improve traceability and decision-making.

• Collaboration with the Data area to validate, clean, and structure data from plants, markets, and internal systems.

• Automation of communications, forecasts, notifications, incidents, and regulatory reporting.

• Identification of inefficiencies, proposal of digital solutions, and standardization of processes.

Requirements

• STEM background: Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar; specialization in energy, automation or data engineering is a plus.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in process automation, data engineering or energy environments.

• Knowledge of Markets (OMIE, REE) will be highly valued.

• Proficiency in Python, script development, automations, ETL, and API connection.

• Advanced handling of SQL and experience in System Integration, Visualization, and reporting (Power BI, Grafana, or others).

• Orientation towards continuous improvement, ability to standardize, automate and optimize complex processes, identifying inefficiencies and proposing scalable digital solutions.
