About the internship

We are seeking a Bachelor’s or Master’s student for a 3 month internship focused on silicone formulations application development on different Textile substrates within our industrial R&D environment. The studentship offers hands‑on exposure to real product development challenges, combining formulation science and application‑oriented testing.

The student will actively contribute to the development, optimization, and characterization of silicone‑based systems, working at the interface of silicones, polymers, and colloidal systems. The role involves laboratory experimentation, formulation screening, performance evaluation, and interpretation of structure–property relationships.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of formulation samples and laboratory test materials.

• Execution of experimental plans following established safety rules and good laboratory practices.

• Collection, analysis, and management of experimental data.

• Optimization of formulations and testing protocols to improve performance and robustness.

• Clear results reporting, technical documentation, and presentation of findings.

• Contribution to problem solving by applying critical thinking and innovative approaches.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field

• Good working knowledge of English.

• You can start between August and October 2026 for a period of three months (exact timing to be discussed).
