Data Analyst Intern – Materials Lab – Internship

Join the Materials Lab team within the R&D Materials and Innovation area, where you'll play a key role in optimizing laboratory operations through data and process analysis.
 You will work with laboratory and process data, transforming raw values from instruments and experiments into meaningful insights.
 Your work will support R&D and plants with data-driven contributions to improve processes, quality, and materials development, combining technical understanding with analytical and digital skills.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will collaborate with your tutor to:

• Identify, query, and integrate databases to extract meaningful correlations from laboratory and process data.
\n
• Apply data cleaning and transformation techniques to ensure consistency and accuracy.
\n
• Use statistical and analytical methods to uncover insights and support innovation.
\n
• Build dashboards and automated tools to improve data monitoring and predictive capabilities.
\n
• Document and share best practices for data analysis and reporting.
\n
• Present findings through visualizations and clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\n

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

\n
• MSc student in Engineering (industrial, physics, materials), Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related fields.
\n
• Basic knowledge of data analytics and data science techniques: statistics, regression, visualization, multivariate analysis.
\n
• Understanding of experimental or laboratory contexts (instruments, processes).
\n
• Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Python, Office 365.
\n
• Team spirit, adaptability, and a proactive attitude in proposing solutions, solid aptitude for working with data and managing complex data structures

• Curiosity and willingness to deepen knowledge in data analysis and laboratory processes
