Validates proper classification and accurate weight representation for shipments.Major Tasks and Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversees dockworker performance to ensure compliant use of weighing, dimensioning equipment, and dock procedures.</li><li>Collaborates with regional and terminal operations teams to address personnel issues related to weight and research process compliance.</li><li>Coordinates with maintenance and information technology teams to address forklift scale and dimensioning equipment issues.</li><li>Facilitates accurate invoicing through freight inspection, dimensioner data analysis, product research, and shipper classifications.</li><li>Documents weight and research changes for efficient dispute resolution and freight charge collections.</li><li>Aids the sales team with necessary National Motor Freight Classification information for customers.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in transportation, business, or a related field.</li><li>2+ years of weight and research or transportation experience.</li><li>Working knowledge of the National Motor Freight Classification, packaging, and regulations.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office.</li><li>Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.</li></ul>               Salary Range: $61,700.00 - $76,200.00 annually, based on experience.
