What is a project? Why do we have projects? What does a Project Manager do? What kind of PM are there? And how to build a career in Project Management? Five questions, several answers, one world to discover: the universe of a Project Manager.
The aim of this online experience is to look at Project Management from a birds-eye level, exploring different practices, methodologies, cultures, and the driving force between each. You’ll have the chance to discover what a Project Manager actually does, her/his tasks and skills: a behind-the-scenes look on a Day in the Life of a PM.
To do so, we’ll have Hani Chkess on board, Project Manager at the Financial Times Strategies. During his career he has experienced, among others, website launches, product launches, marketing campaigns and IT system migration projects.
He'll cover a wide range of topics related to Project Management, such as the qualities and skills required to succeed in project management, what a project is, project management specialties and methodologies (e.g. Prince2, Agile) as well as some tips for landing a first job in the field.

Hani Chkess - Project Manager @ FT Strategies
I chose to become a project manager because I love building stuff, so I spend most of my time at work coordinating people and resources to turn ideas into real things which generate value. I hold a Prince2 Agile Practitioner certificate, and so far I've worked on marketing, IT and operations projects.
The online experience is scheduled for the 26th of October, at 6:00 pm (CET).
It will be held in English.
See you on Zoom! :)
