Job Description: The French entity of Hitachi Rail is strengthening its teams and recruiting a CBTC System Analysis Engineer H/F on a permanent contract, for its Les Ulis (91) site – head office.

Joining the teams of Hitachi Rail's French entity means integrating the global development center for CBTC for the entire Group. Numerous CBTC projects are underway directly from France or through the Group, particularly in China (Shenyang), Asia Taiwan (Taipei), Europe in Denmark (Copenhagen…), South America in Peru (Lima), and more recently in Great Britain (Glasgow) and Belgium (Brussels). As the sole supplier of signaling systems for French high-speed lines (LGV), we are currently working on the Le Mans-Rennes, Tours-Bordeaux and Paris-Strasbourg projects. We are also carrying out the modernization program for classic French lines (new generation computer station) and cutting-edge technologies for radio communication-based metro signaling systems (CBTC).

The position we offer you:
Within the generic application development department of the Hitachi Rail France entity's CBTC Core and attached to the “Core CBTC Integration” team, you will join the “Analysis” package.
Your main missions include:
Being the privileged contact person for anomaly feedback related to our CBTC system
Carrying out the necessary investigations to process anomaly reports provided by test teams
Being in direct contact with several teams (system specification, development, laboratory testing, site testing, etc.) to provide corrective solutions or workaround solutions to anomaly reports
Coordinating multi-team discussions when resolution involves several sub-systems
Defining, with the simulation team and the various test teams, scenarios to recreate a situation seen on site to facilitate its analysis
Being an interface with several projects and centralizing the various problems to facilitate information extraction and provide clear reporting to management
Writing technical notes and proposing a new tool to facilitate investigations

With a Bac+5 degree, you are a graduate of an engineering school or university, or you have equivalent knowledge or experience. This position requires:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an equivalent field
The ability to visualize the architecture of a complex system and understand how its interfaces work
Knowledge of the system as a whole as well as CBTC sub-systems
Proficiency in documentary and software configuration management, verification of data definition for safety systems (SIL4)
The ability to work with Windows and Linux operating systems on software such as Excel, Wireshark, GIT, Putty but also proprietary ones
Basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, C, C++, Ada, bash, tcl, SCADE, lua, vba, etc.) to understand code written by others and possibly propose simple evolutions or corrections
An analytical mind and rigorous reasoning
Pedagogical qualities and clarity of written and oral expression on technical subjects
An appetite for working in interaction with many people
The ability to take responsibility for the team if necessary
A fluent and technical level of French and English, allowing you to easily evolve in our international and multicultural environment
