The position we offer:
As an Onboard Signaling Systems Specialist, you will work within the Hitachi Rail France entity, at the Les Ulis site - head office - in the Paris region (Essonne, 91).
Reporting to the Hitachi Rail France Onboard Competence Center, you will be responsible for the correct specification of our onboard railway equipment embedded in trains, across our various projects.
Your main missions include:
Supervise and participate in the drafting of design documents, in accordance with client requirements, and ensuring compliance with budget and schedule, applicable standards and reference documents, as well as company processes
Supervise and participate in the drafting of system architecture documents allowing the definition of the embedded signaling equipment (systems and/or sub-systems)
Supervise and participate in the drafting of functional and/or interface requirements definition documents applicable to the components of the embedded signaling system
Participate in the definition of technical functional and hardware interfaces with the product line manager, other departments of the company and with external partners (suppliers, co-contractors, ...)
Systematize the traceability of requirements between documents when applicable, in order to facilitate verification activities
Supervise and participate in the analysis of discrepancies and their formalization regarding the conformity of the design with client requirements, applicable standards and reference documents, as well as company processes
Participate in the drafting of the onboard system version sheet
Initiate and participate in technical reviews to detect design errors, inefficiencies in processes and tools, define associated corrective and improvement actions, and ensure their effective implementation
Participate in the enrichment of a knowledge base and feedback where detected design errors, potentially inefficiencies in processes and tools, as well as, systematically, associated corrective actions are duly recorded
Supervise and participate in the costing of provisional costs for all design activities, within the framework of calls for tenders

With a Bac+5 degree, you are a graduate of an engineering school or university. This position requires:
A minimum of 5 years of experience
Knowledge of the architecture of a complex system and the functioning of its interfaces
Knowledge of railway signaling systems and associated standards
Knowledge of document configuration management and associated tools
Analytical mind and rigorous reasoning
An appetite for teamwork but also a certain autonomy, a spirit of collaboration
A fluent and technical level of French and English, allowing you to easily evolve in our international and multicultural environment
