Job Description:

Hitachi Rail France is strengthening its teams and is recruiting an On-board CBTC Integration Engineer (M/F) on a permanent contract, for its Les Ulis (91) site – head office.

Joining the Hitachi Rail France teams means joining the global CBTC development center for the entire Group. Numerous CBTC achievements are underway directly from France or through the Group, particularly in China (Shenyang), Asia Taiwan (Taipei), Europe in Denmark (Copenhagen…), South America in Peru (Lima), and more recently in Great Britain (Glasgow) and Belgium (Brussels). As the sole supplier of signaling systems for French high-speed lines (LGV), we are currently working on the Le Mans-Rennes, Tours-Bordeaux and Paris-Strasbourg projects. We are also carrying out the modernization program for classic French lines (new generation computer post) and cutting-edge technologies for radio communication-based metro signaling systems (CBTC).

The position we offer:

Within the CORE CBTC Development team, you will take part in the integration of the Carborne Controller (CC) on-board equipment and in the definition of its maintenance sub-system.

Your main missions include:

• Analyze the functional requirements of the system specification for the on-board equipment

• Analyze needs and write maintenance requirements for the on-board equipment

• Write and execute the test catalog

• Integrate different binaries on the CC platform in host and target environments

• Maintain in operational condition and improve host and target test environments

• Analyze and report different problems to development teams

• Analyze and correct different technical problems related to the CC platform and real-time

• Write associated documentation

• Be in contact with system specification, Generic Application and Generic Product development, and downstream analysis and test teams

Working methods:

• Full-time

• Partial teleworking possible (up to 2 days per week)

Location of the position:

• In the heart of the Courtabœuf business park

• Easy access:

  • By car from the A10/A11 motorway and the N118
  • By bus n°22 from Massy Palaiseau RER station (RER B and C)

Your profile:

With a Bac+5 degree, you are a graduate of an engineering school or university. This position requires:

• At least 2 years of experience in development, in a similar sector

• Proficiency in the Linux operating system as well as C and Python programming languages

• Knowledge of Git and CVS configuration management tools

• Knowledge of network and real-time embedded applications (knowledge of cybersecurity would be a plus)

• Good interpersonal skills, teaching qualities and clarity of written and oral expression on technical subjects

• Autonomy and curiosity

• A fluent and technical level of French and English, allowing you to evolve easily in our international and multicultural environment
