Account Representative

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide sales support for assigned territory including activities such as quoting and lead qualification.

2. Promote sales and track progress toward sales goals by regularly following up on open quotes, providing input for forecasting, and reporting on sales.

3. Support customer visits to develop relationships, deliver and receive pertinent information regarding customer accounts, and at times represent SEL at tradeshows, conferences and events.

4. Assist with managing and identifying opportunities to increase sales.

5. Provide customer service for assigned customers to support order processing/fulfillment or RMA’s, manage and resolve customer feedbacks, and manage NPS/survey responses and resolution.

6. Provide administrative and customer service support to management, sales engineers, or outside sales reps for assigned customers.

7. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

8. Understand. Create. Simplify.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of progressively responsible customer service, technical sales, or related experience

• Bachelor's degree or related experience

• Strong computer and business software skills

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Ability to learn concepts and technical details of products

• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment

• Ability to travel up to 15%

• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

• Background check results satisfactory to SEL

• Negative drug test result(s)

• Ability to write and speak English coherently

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SEL products and systems

• Account management experience

• Database experience
