Join us as a Sales Development Representative intern in our new Qonto Comptabilité Sales team. You'll speak with newly onboarded Qonto clients, run an initial eligibility check using the criteria we'll provide, and ask a few discovery questions to understand their situation. For eligible, interested leads, you'll book a meeting with an Account Executive (AE) to explore their accounting needs in more depth.

Your role is to open the conversation and make the handover seamless. Our AEs own in-depth needs discovery, sales qualification, recommendations, and closing. You don't need to be an accounting expert or an experienced salesperson to get started.

Start date: January 2027 Location: Paris, Bonne Nouvelle — hybrid

➡️ What you'll do

• Start the conversation: Reach out to newly onboarded Qonto clients by phone and follow up to introduce Qonto Comptabilité and offer a conversation with an AE.

• Check the essentials: Run short, structured calls using a clear checklist to confirm the client's eligibility. When a situation is unclear, flag it to an AE rather than making the decision alone.

• Book the next step: Schedule appointments between eligible, interested clients and our AEs, explaining what to expect from the conversation.

• Set AEs up for success: Keep clear notes in our CRM on the eligibility checks, the client's initial interest, and any questions to explore during the appointment.

• Keep conversations moving: Follow up thoughtfully with clients who haven't replied, confirm appointments, and help reschedule missed meetings.

• Use AI to work smarter: Prepare calls, personalise outreach, and draft follow-ups with AI—checking and adapting the output before use.

• Help us improve: Share recurring questions and feedback to make our scripts, eligibility checklist, and handovers more effective.

• Contribute beyond client calls: Support the team's behind-the-scenes (researching competitors, helping prepare prospect-facing presentations and documents…). Work with AEs to turn research and ideas into clear, useful materials.

➡️ What we're looking for

• You're eager to learn sales: You're looking for an internship or apprenticeship where you can gain hands-on experience. Previous sales or customer-facing experience is a plus, not a requirement.

• You're ready to pick up the phone: You enjoy talking to people, listen carefully, and can explain the purpose of a call simply. You don't need a polished sales pitch on day one.

• You're clear in French: You can hold professional conversations with French-speaking clients and write concise follow-up messages.

• You're organised and reliable: You follow a checklist, capture accurate information, and make sure appointments and handovers don't fall through the cracks.

• You're persistent, not pushy: You can follow up respectfully and stay motivated when clients don't answer or aren't interested.

• You're curious and coachable: You ask questions, take feedback on board, and know when to ask an AE for help.

• You're comfortable with digital tools: You're keen to learn how to use a CRM and AI tools in your day-to-day work.

➡️ What we can offer you

• A hands-on introduction to sales: Build practical skills in outreach, active listening, eligibility screening, and appointment setting.

• Learning alongside AEs: See how an initial conversation becomes a sales opportunity, and learn from colleagues who own the full sales cycle.

• A new team you can help shape: Contribute ideas and client feedback as we build the Qonto Comptabilité sales motion.

• A clear scope to grow in: Start with structured eligibility checks and appointment booking, without being expected to handle complex qualification or close deals.

• Transferable skills: Develop the confidence, organisation, and commercial foundations for your next step in sales.

➡️ Your team

You'll work closely with the Account Executives in the Qonto Comptabilité Sales team. Together, you'll help clients understand the next step and connect them with the right person to explore their accounting needs.
