Our site serves as the global headquarters for the Large Format Printing and 3D Printing Business Units, driving innovation across software, firmware, and hardware development.

Within HP Additive Manufacturing, our global Advanced Technical Consulting (ATC) team helps industrial customers turn ideas into real, scalable production using HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing. From automotive to consumer products and healthcare, we work on real manufacturing applications where software, data and advanced engineering make a difference.

As our AI, Data & Advanced Manufacturing Intern, you will explore cutting-edge AI and digital technologies with global technical experts and customer-facing teams. We are looking for someone excited to build with AI, not just use it.

• Prototype AI agents, reusable AI skills, technical knowledge assistants and LLM-powered workflows that help engineers solve real problems.

• Create Python tools, scripts and automations; connect data and systems through REST APIs, and explore emerging integrations such as MCP.

• Analyze industrial data, develop practical data pipelines, visualizations and dashboards, and turn insights into better engineering decisions.

• Build and demonstrate digital proof-of-concepts with our global ATC team, test ideas with users, and improve tools through feedback.

• Learn HP Multi Jet Fusion and support real customer applications, including part quality, process optimization and production efficiency.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.

• Basic programming skills (ideally Python), interest in APIs, data analysis and AI agents. Familiarity with Git, SQL, LLM tools, MCP or automation is a plus.

• Curious and proactive technology enthusiast with an experimental, hands-on mindset, analytical thinking, creativity and strong teamwork skills.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Previous experience in 3D printing is not required.

Experience our benefits:

• Paid internship within a global, technology driven company.

• Join an international work environment, with opportunities for learning, professional development, and networking across teams.
