In this context, we are looking for talent for the position of Especialista Mercados Energéticos (Madrid)
The challenges of your day-to-day will be focused on:

Analysis, structuring, negotiation, and execution of static hedging operations, through direct bilateral negotiation with counterparties, acting through brokers, or operating on market platforms for contracting operations that bring the Group's or its clients' position to the required levels from a risk management point of view.

Analysis, structuring, negotiation, and execution of dynamic hedging and optimization trading operations, by acting on broker platforms, direct bilateral negotiation with counterparties, or operating on market platforms.

Research and analysis of the evolution and existing opportunities in different markets, in order to materialize arbitrage operations in the markets where it operates.

Management of operations and logistics of physical or financial positions in the corresponding markets.

Service to commercialization and other Group units for both simple and structured products.

Study and analysis of the regulation of energy markets in which trading activity is developed.

Monitoring of position associated with trading activity, ensuring the traceability of the trade life cycle through ETRM Horizon.

Control and management of commodity book positions to ensure that risk is within limits.

Coordination for monitoring relevant information for calculating guarantees, bilateral exposure, and correct settlement of contracted operations.

Interlocution with internal teams (Strategy Design, Research, Models, Settlements, Commercial, LNG, Risks, OME, ...) and international counterparties.

Participation in on-call shifts on corresponding holidays.
What you need:
University Education: Engineering, Economics, ADE, Mathematics, Physics, Finance
Other Mandatory Requirements:

Fluent English (C1 Level)

1-3 years of experience in trading, energy management, or wholesale markets.

- Postgraduate training in programming languages and/or data science, as well as specific courses in commodity markets, financial instruments and risks, or quantitative finance.
