Senior Manager, Visual Design

Job Description Summary:

At Coca-Cola, employees around the world help bring some of the most recognized and loved brands to life. This role is an opportunity to bring that same level of care, creativity, and craft to the experiences we create for them.

You’ll join an HR team focused on improving the employee experience. As the team’s dedicated visual designer, you’ll create presentations, toolkits, illustrations, digital assets, and interfaces that reach employees around the world. You’ll also grow the HR design system, explore how AI can help a small team do more, and improve experiences across Workday, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and other internal platforms. Your creative judgment and systems thinking will help make complex experiences feel clear, intuitive, and connected.

This is an individual-contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Experience Design. You’ll work alongside HR strategists and partner closely with communications, adoption, and technology teams.

What You’ll Do for Us

Visual and Communication Designer. You’ll turn complex employee and HR topics into visual experiences that are clear, compelling, and easy to use. You’ll bring strong creative thinking and craft to presentations, toolkits, infographics, editorial layouts, illustration, motion, video, digital assets, and interfaces.

Design Systems Builder. You’ll build and maintain the components, templates, asset libraries, patterns, and standards behind consistent employee and HR experiences. You’ll create reusable solutions that help teams work faster without sacrificing design quality.

UX and UI Designer. You’ll create digital experiences that are clear, intuitive, accessible, and grounded in employee needs. You’ll design and prototype interfaces and workflows, using feedback to make enterprise technology easier to navigate and use.

Designer for Scale. You’ll explore and help shape AI-enabled workflows that help non-designers create high-quality work. You’ll develop practical guidance, prompts, examples, and guardrails that make design tools and systems easier to use responsibly and consistently.

Creative Partner. You’ll partner with HR, communications, technology, and business teams to shape briefs, explore ideas, and guide solutions from concept through delivery. When specialist support is needed, you’ll provide clear creative direction and help ensure external work meets a high standard.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A strong portfolio showing exceptional graphic-design craft across presentations, digital communications, illustration, information design, and interfaces.

• Strong command of typography, composition, hierarchy, color, and visual storytelling, with the ability to adapt your approach for different audiences, needs, and channels.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, PowerPoint, Figma, and other relevant creative tools.

• Experience designing intuitive interfaces and workflows, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

• Experience building design systems, templates, component libraries, and standards that others can use successfully.

• A strong understanding of accessibility, inclusive design, and usability, with a genuine interest in how employees consume, navigate, and experience content and tools.

• Curiosity and practical experience with AI-enabled design tools and workflows.

• Strong creative judgment, influence, and collaboration skills, with the ability to shape briefs, explain design decisions, navigate feedback, advocate for quality, and guide external partners in a complex organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with motion design, animation, storyboarding, or video editing.

• Experience designing for employee, HR, workplace, learning, or other complex enterprise experiences.

• Familiarity with platforms such as Workday, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.

What We’ll Do for You

• Enable you to shape the future of employee experience design by working on projects that reach a global workforce and directly impact how people interact with HR technology and tools.

• Be the first dedicated designer on a team of HR strategists, with the opportunity to establish how design is practiced, scaled, and embedded across employee experiences.

• Provide meaningful opportunities to experiment with AI-enabled design workflows and help define how a small team can create more without compromising quality.

• Connect you with a broad network of communications, HR, technology, and business partners who value design but don't yet have dedicated design support.

• Support your growth through access to modern design practices, system thinking approaches, and enterprise platforms, helping you expand your design and problem-solving skills at scale.

• Give you the autonomy to shape design decisions, establish new ways of working, and build a lasting internal design capability where one does not exist today.
