Staff Specialist Customs

Reporting to the Senior Manager for Customs, this position will assist to manage all aspects of import and export compliance for Infineon group of companies within Asia Pacific and Japan Region. This role will assist in establishing and implementing Internal Control Program in Singapore and APJ Region. He/she will assist address Customs compliance issues to mitigate import and export compliance risks and work closely with all stakeholders in ensuring that all entities in APJ adhere to relevant national and international regulations.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Support in Regional Audits.

• Support in Surveillance on import and exports.

• Support in conducting trainings and awareness on customs compliance.

• Implementation of controls with regards to non-preferential and preferential origin management.

• Subject Matter Expert on HS Classification, Customs Valuation and Rules of Origin.

• Keep up to date on Customs regulatory changes and best practices.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 3 years of work experience in Customs Affairs.

• In depth knowledge in Customs domain such as

  • HS Classification
  • Customs Valuation
  • Preferential and non-Preferential Rules of Origin

• Experience in audits is beneficial

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
