What are we looking for?

We are looking for an OutSystems Developer to support different OutSystems teams and participate in the development of business applications for different areas of the organization, including areas such as Finance and Risk.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop business applications using OutSystems, following an Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Participate in the entire development and delivery cycle of solutions, including functionality demonstrations, production deployments, and release procedures.

• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, transforming user and business needs into technical requirements for the sprint backlog.

• Align requirements and potential solutions with the rest of the team to identify the best technical approach.

• Co-own the internal repository of reusable components, managing their lifecycle and incorporating new components when necessary.

• Perform code reviews and contribute to maintaining high-quality development standards.

• Actively collaborate with Tech Leads and other developers in the OutSystems community.

• Contribute to the evolution of work methods, services, components, and best practices of the team.

• Participate in the application and evolution of best practices defined by the OutSystems Center of Excellence.

• Share knowledge and technically mentor other team members when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent training, or comparable professional experience.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with OutSystems.

• Solid experience in:

  • Application development with OutSystems.
  • Development and integration of APIs.
  • Internal Forge and management of reusable components.
  • Queries and work with SQL.
  • Front-end development in OutSystems.
  • Software development and deployment lifecycle.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Ability to perform code reviews and apply good development practices.

• Experience working with Product Owners, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.

• Excellent level of English, both spoken and written. (C1/C2)
