Your Task

This role involves designing and implementing a SUSE based virtualization platform using KVM as the hypervisor. This position requires 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a SUSE based virtualization platform using KVM as the hypervisor

• Ensure the platform is certified and optimized for SAP workloads including sizing, high availability, and performance requirements

• Integrate the platform and automation workflows with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools

• Enable request, change, and incident workflows that trigger automation using Terraform, Ansible, and update CMDB where needed

• Maintain a living architecture document covering all layers including compute, storage, network, automation, observability, and integrations

• Provide lightweight project and stakeholder management to prioritize features, manage risks, and align with business and SAP roadmaps

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced Virtualization Platform Engineer with extensive expertise in SUSE-based virtualization, KVM hypervisor, SAP workload optimization, and automation integration with ITSM tools.

Must Have Skills

• 10+ years of experience

• Experience designing and implementing SUSE-based virtualization platforms

• Experience with KVM as the hypervisor

• Experience ensuring platform certification and optimization for SAP workloads

• Knowledge of sizing, high availability, and performance requirements for SAP environments

• Experience integrating platforms and automation workflows with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools

• Ability to enable request, change, and incident workflows that trigger automation

• Experience with Terraform

• Experience with Ansible

• Experience updating CMDB

• Ability to maintain living architecture documentation covering all layers (compute, storage, network, automation, observability, integrations)

• Ability to provide lightweight project and stakeholder management

• Ability to prioritize features and manage risks

• Ability to align with business and SAP roadmaps
