Streaming Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer in the DPG Network Area, you leverage the daily reach of millions of readers and viewers on our online platforms as a competitive advantage by stitching together user interactions and building real-time profiles across our entire digital ecosystem.

You build cloud-based streaming data pipelines and its underlying infrastructure. In short: you live up to our principle You Build It, You Run It.

• Handle High Scale & Throughput: Optimize data pipelines capable of processing terabytes of event data daily with low latency, high availability, and strong fault tolerance.

• Deploy & Operate on AWS/EKS: Own your applications end-to-end, deploying microservices to Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) using modern CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native observability.

• Collaborate & Mentor: Partner with stakeholders, privacy specialists, fellow developers to translate complex business domains into clean, event-driven domain models.
