We are looking for a Logistics Team Leaderto join our Crawley Warehouse.

Your responsibilities

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of your team and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products through the warehouse.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Leading and supporting an operational team, ensuring a high level of engagement and performance.
Managing the team's daily activity, including allocating tasks, monitoring progress and managing priorities according to operational needs.
Planning and organising activityto ensure the right balance between workload and team capacity, including managing holidays and absences.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including health, safety and security standards across the warehouse.
Being the owner of operational procedures and ways of working, ensuring they are consistently followed by the team.
Acting as a technical and operational point of referencefor your team.
Supporting the onboarding and training of new team members, while developing versatility and cross-training within the team.
Maintaining strong communication within the team through a visible and hands-on presence on the warehouse floor.
Monitoring operational performance and escalating any issues, incidents or dysfunctionsto your manager, contributing to the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, productivity and overall warehouse performance.

About you

You have ideally completed a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, preferably in logistics, supply chain or a related field.
You have 3–5 years of experience in a logistics or warehouse team leadership role.
You are a confident and experienced manager, with previous experience leading teams in a fast-paced and challenging operational environment.
You are rigorous, autonomous and proactive, with a strong ability to take initiative.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across different teams.
You are resilient, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment.
You have a strong sense of customer and operational excellence, with a focus on achieving both quality and productivity targets.
Previous experience in the fashion, luxury, retail or e-commerce industrywould be a plus.
