For the Product & Service Design team, we are looking for a person to join as an intern, interested in understanding user needs and translating them into proposals to improve digital products and services in the B2B sector.

You will support the team in research, analysis and design activities, considering both the experience of those who use the services and the processes and people that enable their delivery. You will collaborate with Business, Engineering and Data Science functions, learning to connect user needs, business objectives and implementation constraints.

What you will do

• You will contribute to analyzing existing services and processes, reconstructing user needs, interactions between those involved and the main critical issues of the experience.

• You will support the team in preparing and conducting interviews and usability tests, contributing to the synthesis of results and the identification of design opportunities.

• You will integrate research findings with available information, such as customer feedback, usage data, and experience and product indicators.

• You will collaborate in the construction of journey maps and service blueprints to represent user experience, service delivery processes and improvement opportunities.

• You will participate in ideation activities and the creation of concepts, use scenarios and simple prototypes to make proposals concrete and gather feedback.

• You will support the team in discussions with the functions involved and during the development of solutions, helping to clarify design choices and verify their consistency with the needs that emerged.

Who you are

• You are completing or have completed a course of study in Service Design, Product Design, Interaction Design or another discipline, with relevant training or design experience in service design.

• You have a basic knowledge of human-centered design principles and have experimented, even in a university setting, with some methods of user research and service analysis and representation.

• You have participated in at least one project in which you contributed to understanding a problem, exploring people's needs and formulating a proposal. You can describe the path followed, your contribution and the reasons for the choices made.

• You can organize information and observations, identify connections and synthesize them clearly, also through diagrams and visual representations.

• You are interested in understanding both how people experience a service and how it is delivered, considering roles, processes and organizational constraints.

• In group work, you can listen, ask for clarification and review your proposals in light of new evidence and feedback.

• You communicate clearly in Italian and can use English to consult materials and documentation and discuss project topics.

The workplace is San Donato Milanese (MI), with a hybrid working model.

A monthly expense reimbursement of Euro 800 is foreseen.
