Within this company, you will join the "CATIA AI/ML, Generative & Composite Design Portfolio" organization responsible for defining the portfolio of our future solutions in the areas of generative and composite design. This team covers both design, multi-physics simulation, and Artificial Intelligence. Furthermore, you will be working in close collaboration with the research and development teams.

Your Missions

• Participate in the definition of use cases based on artificial intelligence to accelerate the adoption of new technologies in the field of mechanical design.

• Design and build datasets for training various artificial intelligence models.

• Evaluate the performance and quality of the models and the generated results, then adapt the datasets when necessary to improve their effectiveness.

• Prototype innovative user interface concepts and evaluate them through user tests to optimize the user experience.

• Create demonstrations highlighting the main value propositions of the product.

• Participate in the daily activities of the team in collaboration with the internship supervisor and the different project members.

• Identify and document unmet needs of the current solution (Gap Analysis) to feed the product roadmap.

Your Qualifications

Desired profile Student preparing a Bac+5 level diploma in an engineering school. Desired specializations/options:

• Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

• Mechanical engineering

• Structural analysis

• Artificial intelligence applied to engineering (or training including AI courses)

Required skills:

• Solid knowledge of mechanical design and structural analysis.

• Proficiency in CATIA V5, CATIA V6, or the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Assembly Design, Knowledgeware, etc.) as well as ABAQUS/SIMULIA.

• Good knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, acquired through training or academic projects, particularly around Large Language Models (LLM), Graph Neural Networks (GNN), or other generative AI and machine learning models.

• A first experience in development or experimentation with AI tools or frameworks (Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, etc.) would be a plus.

• Basic knowledge of User-Centered Design, UX/UI, and an interest in creating intuitive and interactive interfaces.

• Very good level of English, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in a video editing tool (Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent).
