Job Description

Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the software architecture for power tool platforms and product variants.

• Develop architecture, software frameworks, and reusable platform components.

• Drive architectural decisions, scalability, safety and maintainability.

• Establish software design guidelines, coding standards, and architecture governance.

• Perform architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.

• Ensure alignment between software architecture and product roadmaps

Expected skill set:

• Embedded C,C++ & Python

• Software Architecture (ARC42) and Design Patterns

• UML, SysML, Architecture Modelling

• RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr)

• ARM Cortex-based Microcontrollers

• Embedded Communication Protocols

• Device Drivers and MCAL Development

• Git, CI/CD and DevOps Practices

• Static Code Analysis and Software Quality Tools.

• Clean coding

Good to Have skills:

• Motor Control Algorithms

• Battery Management Systems

• AUTOSAR Concepts

• Model-Based Design

• Functional Safety (IEC 62841)

• Digital Twin, Simulation, HiL Testing

• AI-assisted Software Development/Design

Qualifications
