What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Data Governance Consultant to participate in a strategic data transformation and governance initiative. We are looking for an autonomous profile with solid experience in Data Governance and, especially, with the ability to work directly with business areas and convert their needs into concrete governance initiatives.

? What you will do

• Define and implement Data Governance models and frameworks.

• Work with Data Owners and Data Stewards in defining responsibilities and processes.

• Participate in initiatives for catalog, quality, lineage, glossaries, and metadata management.

• Define and monitor data quality rules and KPIs.

• Identify and govern data assets relevant to the business.

• Maintain direct communication with different areas, understanding their needs and translating them to the scope of Data Governance.

• Coordinate and monitor initiatives with business, data, and technology teams.

? Your profile

• Solid experience in Data Governance / Data Management projects.

• Knowledge of catalog, quality, lineage, and metadata tools.

• Experience defining governance models, Data Owner / Data Steward roles, and quality rules.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage different stakeholders.

• Very good communication, facilitation, and business interaction skills.

• Ability to combine a functional data vision with methodological governance knowledge.

• Experience in large organizations and data transformation projects.

• Knowledge of frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.

• Certifications related to Data Governance / Data Management.
