Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for Industrial AI Cloud

This AI factory in Germany will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers. Your Task

NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom are jointly developing the world's first industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers. This AI factory in Germany will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers. Deutsche Telekom provides secure, sovereign and fast infrastructure, including data centers, operations, security, and AI solutions. The Senior DevOps Engineer provides consultation of functional organization to implement DevOps principles in term of culture and technologies. The holder of the position prepares prototypes and concepts for further automation of assigned technology, driving continuous improvement. The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement and support ICT components and applications in order to deliver quality standard product portfolio on AI Cloud platform

• Develop concepts, processes and methods for automation, optimization, and standardization to satisfy efficiency and automation requirements

• Consult and provide advice or information at request or at own initiative to all relevant employees or customers regarding technical aspects of products

• Consult and provide project deliverables to fulfil the project scope

• Own responsibility for maintenance and support of enhancement of the Product pipelines with further levels of value chain, connecting pipeline to different platforms and infrastructures, integration of different platforms and infrastructures into the pipeline, root-cause analysis of pipeline runtime errors

• Develop and implement architecture of services based on AI Cloud platform requirements

• Mentor and train co-workers to spread knowledge level and develop their skills

• Act as key technical lead and solve and coordinate activities across related technologies/outside own team

• Setup and manage integration with partner applications

Your Profile

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, containerization technologies, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines, along with strong technical expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, and GPU-based infrastructure.

Must Have Skills

• 2+ years of experience in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS

• Experience with GPU based infrastructure

• Knowledge of Kubernetes container-based technologies

• Experience with scripting languages (Python/Bash)

• Experience with Automation tools and automation deployments (Ansible/Salt-stack/Terraform/Helm)

• Experience with CI/CD in a Kubernetes environment and repository management

• Experience in automation with Git (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD

• Strong experience with Linux OS

• Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus)

• English at B2 level

• Good communication skills
