Procurement Operations Manager Packaging

Your Tasks

• Manage tactical packaging procurement for existing portfolio and new product launches, ensuring competitiveness, quality, and supply availability

• Act as procurement partner to cross-functional teams, factories, and suppliers throughout project execution

• Lead RFIs/RFPs, supplier tenders, bid evaluations, and supplier selection based on total cost of ownership (TCO)

• Drive cost optimization, sourcing efficiency, supplier performance, and procurement KPI improvements such as savings and spend coverage

• Maintain accurate procurement data and processes within ERP systems

• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of sourcing and procurement processes

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards, contracts, and applicable requirements

Your Profile

• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, ora related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, preferably withinan international environment and relevant categories.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindsetwith a hands-on approach.

• Proven experience in direct sourcing, tender management,negotiations, and supplier management.

• Decision-making and ability to take ownership.

• Solid understanding of procurement processes and ideally of Supply Chain dynamics.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Digital mindset with an interest in leveraging AI tools andemerging technologies to improve procurement efficiency

• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and hands-on mindset with a strong can-do attitude.

• Adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic environments with change and ambiguity.

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment toresults.

• Effective influencing and indirect leadership skills, with the abilityto engage and align stakeholders.

• Experience with SAP R/3 (MM)
