Experienced – Data Scientist GenAI

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join the Digital, AI Controls & Algorithms team in Rome and Milan, working in a Hybrid mode.

The Digital, AI Controls & Algorithms area is a frontier in the use of advanced technologies and is responsible for providing Digital Transformation services with the aim of supporting the digitalization of business processes for major multinational clients. Activities involve the use of Generative AI, AI, and Data Analytics tools, integrated within a cutting-edge (SOTA) application and infrastructural ecosystem. For this, we leverage the main services offered by major Cloud players, as well as on-premise local deployment solutions.

Your Role

The Experienced resource will be inserted into a work team and will be responsible for:

• Technological Leadership: Assuming the role of Team Leader, supervising and coordinating a technical development team or junior consultants with various expertise.

• AI & GenAI Solutions Design and Analysis: Analyzing and designing complex GenAI, AI solutions, both application-related and integration with different systems.

• Problem Solving Management: Autonomously addressing and solving complex technical problems, maintaining efficiency and precision even under pressure.

• International Collaboration: Operating within large and diversified teams, with the possibility of interacting on an international scale.

What we offer

The expected remuneration for this position is between EUR 33,000 and EUR 37,500 gross annually for the Consultant grade, and between EUR 40,000 and EUR 49,000 gross annually for the Senior Consultant grade.

The classification will be defined during the selection phase based on the profile and in application of the National Collective Labor Agreement for Tertiary Distribution and Services.

The definition of the specific compensation, including any variable elements (such as MBO) or accessory benefits, will depend on the evaluation of the profile against the requirements of the position.

Winning Requirements

• Degree in STEM subjects;

• Experience in end-to-end management of Data Science projects: requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of AI and GenAI solutions. In particular, at least 5 years of experience in AI/ML projects and 2 years in GenAI projects is required.

• Knowledge of the main foundation models (llama, gpt, sonnet, etc.) and their application depending on the project's specificity.

• Previous experience in developing Generative AI applications (langchain, llamaindex, etc.) with the development and production release of RAG solutions, both chatbot and non-chatbot.

• Excellent knowledge of Python and libraries for data manipulation and model development;

• Experience with containerization tools (e.g., docker) and code versioning tools (e.g., GIT).

• Knowledge of tools and languages for data manipulation: SQL, MongoDB, Neo4j, Spark, etc.

• Excellent knowledge of the English language;

• Flexibility, willingness to travel.
