YOUR ROLE

Do you want to pursue the profession of Chartered Accountant, Lawyer or Shipping Expert and dedicate yourself to tax consulting with a focus on international trade? Deloitte Tax and Corporate Law Firm is looking for recent graduates or young professionals with an economic and tax background to join the Global Trade Advisory (GTA) team.

Within the team:

• You will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry professionals to learn practices in consulting activities for the correct management of international trade and customs compliance;

• You will assist the team in strategic planning activities and in the customs optimization of cross-border transactions, participating in consulting projects and compliance checks;

• You will provide support for assessments and due diligence to evaluate the compliance of company procedures and to contribute to the development of personalized solutions for clients;

• You will deepen your knowledge of the laws and regulations governing global trade, including, in addition to customs regulations, export control requirements and international economic sanctions, as well as the impacts of new regulations in the ESG field (Environmental, Social, Governance).

About Global Trade Advisory (GTA)

The GTA team is made up of over 25 professionals in Italy, including lawyers, accountants and customs brokers, all with deep expertise in the technical aspects of international trade. The team mainly deals with ensuring the regulatory compliance of companies with customs regulations, excise duties, export control and environmental regulations that impact international trade flows (CBAM, EUDR). The team's activity is also focused on optimizing business processes in the management of specific international trade regulations and strategies.

WINNING REQUIREMENTS

You will be entrusted with a proactive role with increasing responsibility in the assignments and projects in which you will be involved, constantly supported within the work teams by associates and senior experts in the field, coordinated by Deloitte partners. You are the profile we are looking for if you have the following characteristics:

• Recent graduate in Economics or Law or with minimal experience gained in Professional Firms;

• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English;

• Knowledge of standard applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook);

• Motivation, determination and propensity for team working;

• Aptitude for problem solving;

• Strong interest in customs and excise law.
