Mid-Level, Senior
Integration Factory, Digital & Technology Platform Services.
Egypt, Bulgaria, or Greece.
We are looking for an SAP Technical Solutions Engineer who is SAP-first and integration-minded: someone who ensures SAP integrations are designed and implemented correctly at the source, are performant, and are supportable end-to-end. This role is key to stabilizing and scaling enterprise integrations around SAP.
You will be the SAP integration subject-matter expert within the Integration Factory, working closely with middleware engineers, architects, and functional consultants to deliver correct, reliable, and well-documented SAP interfaces. This role requires strong ownership within SAP integration scope and the ability to contribute to design decisions alongside integration engineers and architects.
Design, configure, and implement SAP-centric integrations and interface patterns
Design and implement SAP data exposure using CDS views for integration scenarios (e.g., OData services, APIs)
Ensure CDS views reflect correct business logic, data models, and performance considerations for downstream integrations.
Configure and support SAP integration mechanisms including: IDocs/ALE, RFC/tRFC/qRFC, SOAP Runtime Framework (SRT), Data Replication Framework (DRF), OData, ASAPIO, and ABAP-based interfaces
Act as SAP integration SME within the Integration Factory; guide middleware engineers toward correct SAP behavior and constraints
Troubleshoot SAP-side integration issues, support incidents, and drive root-cause fixes with proper documentation
Collaborate with integration engineers and architects to ensure design alignment across SAP, middleware, and consuming systems
Define and support monitoring/logging points for SAP interfaces to ensure early detection of failures and operational visibility
Contribute to testing and go-live readiness: interface validation, error handling validation, and transport coordination
Ensure reliable operation of business-critical services by meeting agreed SLAs, optimizing performance and availability, and driving rapid incident resolution with a strong focus on incident & ticket volume reduction and MTTR reduction
Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production systems, leveraging operational insights, automation, and root cause analysis to enhance service stability, resilience, and user experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
4+ years of hands-on SAP integration experience
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC integration scenarios
Strong understanding of SAP business processes and transactional behavior as they relate to integrations (e.g., master data, logistics, finance flows)
Deep knowledge of SAP integration mechanisms: IDocs/ALE, RFC, SOAP Runtime Framework (SRT), Data Replication Framework (DRF), OData, and ABAP-based interfaces and ASAPIO
Experience with SAP CDS views and SAP data modelling concepts
ABAP knowledge for integration scenarios, debugging, interface understanding, and collaboration with SAP developers and functional consultants
Ability to work in an enterprise integration environment and communicate clearly across SAP, middleware, and business stakeholders
Ability to design SAP interfaces as part of end-to-end integration flows
Comfort producing technical documentation: interface specs, mapping notes, and troubleshooting guides
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent spoken and written English
Communication, organizational and analytical skills
Experience with SAP middleware integration tools (e.g., CPI/MuleSoft/PI-PO) and API or event-driven exposure
Familiarity with integration patterns: error handling strategy, retries, idempotency, monitoring, and operational runbooks
Experience with agile delivery frameworks and tooling (Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow)
SAP certification in integration or relevant technology area
