The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliable, efficient and cost-effective supply of finished goods and advertising materials in South Korea. The role leads demand and supply planning, inventory, customer service, logistics partner management and operational budgeting, while implementing Red Bull standards and continuously improving transparency, flexibility, service and cost performance. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, the Operations Manager supports the annual business plan and delivers agreed operational and commercial KPIs.
Own the end-to-end planning and inventory cycle for finished goods and advertising materials in line with the business plan and sales forecasts. Drive and continuously improve the S&OP process, ensuring alignment with Sales, Finance, Marketing and regional stakeholders. Manage stock to agreed target levels, minimise shortages, obsolescence and product damage, and ensure Red Bull quality standards are met. Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, inventory movements, customer invoices and system reconciliations.
Oversee warehousing, transportation, order fulfilment and customer service to achieve agreed service levels and cost targets. Ensure reliable delivery and invoicing to customers, acting as the escalation point for operational and customer service issues. Review operational performance regularly and implement improvements across warehousing, transport and order-to-cash activities. Support route-to-market and distribution strategy evaluations, including outsourcing and service provider selection where required.
Lead relationships with third-party logistics, warehousing and distribution partners, including defining, monitoring and improving SLAs and KPIs. Conduct regular business reviews with key partners and recommend changes where service, quality or cost performance requires improvement. Build strong cross-functional relationships and position Operations as a collaborative business partner. Coordinate with Regional Operations and Headquarters on standards, reporting, projects and best-practice implementation.
Lead the Operations contribution to the annual business plan, budget and revised estimates. Manage the approved Operations budget, authorise partner invoices and identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities. Prepare clear and timely KPI, S&OP, budget, month-end and management reporting for local and regional stakeholders. Set and deliver Operations targets, ensuring finished goods, POS and free goods reconcile across internal and external systems.
Support procurement strategies, tenders, supplier negotiations and contract implementation for relevant goods and services. Benchmark operations and implement Red Bull best practices adapted to the South Korean market. Lead operational projects and process improvements that strengthen transparency, scalability, compliance and business continuity. Ensure advertising and event materials are handled, tracked and capitalised accurately and on time.
Coach, develop and engage direct reports and Operations stakeholders, identifying development and succession opportunities. Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments and with external partners. Champion health and safety in operational activities, projects and partner reviews, ensuring incidents are reported, investigated and followed up appropriately. Ensure Operations activities comply with applicable company policies, contractual requirements and local regulations.
Proven experience in an operations or supply chain role with responsibility for logistics, warehousing, distribution, planning and customer service.
Experience in a high-volume international FMCG environment.
Demonstrated ability to deliver service, cost, inventory and operational performance against KPIs and SLAs.
Strong relationship and partner-management skills across internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers and 3PL providers.
People leadership, coaching and team-development capability.
Strong commercial, numerical and analytical skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
Experience with S&OP, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, tenders and supplier negotiations.
Project management and continuous-improvement experience, with a practical and proactive problem-solving approach.
Clear written and verbal communication, resilience under pressure and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced global organisation.
Working knowledge of ERP systems; SAP SD and MM experience is an advantage. AI tools usage experience is desirable (copilot, claude, gemini, chatgpt, etc).
Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business or a related discipline
