Mission Générale: The Performance & Governance Manager contributes to strengthening decision-making support and governance at GBNC by combining performance management, commercial and categorical analysis, business intelligence, profitability analysis, the transformation of the Finance function, and leadership of Performance & Continuous Improvement (P&CI) initiatives.
They transform data into concrete recommendations to serve the company's performance and ensure the implementation of robust, pragmatic, and sustainable tools, processes, and practices within local teams to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement of results.
Improve planning, forecasting, and performance review processes within Finance and the various functions of the company.
Develop reliable Business Intelligence dashboards and a consistent performance database, with clearly established responsibilities, definitions, and controls.
Analyze financial and operational results, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend necessary corrective actions.
Develop models based on key performance indicators, scenarios, and business cases, and simplify management reporting around key decisions and associated responsibilities.
Category Analysis, Growth Engine, and Commercial Performance
Lead category analyses for beers and non-alcoholic beverages, including market size, market shares, portfolio, brands, formats, channels, customers, and competitive trends.
Evaluate performance and profitability by category and Growth Engine, identifying value creation levers, margin dilution factors, growth opportunities, and actions to be implemented.
Develop a Cost-to-Serve vision and profitability by category, Growth Engine, customer, and distribution channel, including logistical costs, commercial investments, and other relevant cost factors.
Support decisions related to pricing, product mix, format architecture, assortment, and Revenue Growth Management with concrete and actionable recommendations.
Implement robust and transparent matching rules, volume conversion, and monthly reporting routines.
Productivity and Finance Transformation
Lead certain productivity and Finance transformation projects, from identifying and quantifying opportunities to their implementation.
Maintain a clear roadmap of initiatives, including baselines, owners, milestones, risks, and validated financial benefits.
Improve reporting tools, Finance processes, and operating methods, notably through automation and, where relevant, the transfer of activities to shared service centers.
Ensure that generated savings and benefits are properly integrated into plans, forecasts, and sustainable financial processes.
Internal Control, Asset Management, and Reporting Governance
Lead compliance and action plans associated with audits, KCA, BSAR, and other topics related to the effectiveness of internal controls, based on a risk approach.
Implement a robust asset management framework covering governance, responsibilities, asset registers, capitalization, identification, physical inventories, security, maintenance interfaces, transfers, and asset disposals.
Strengthen controls related to investments (CAPEX) and the entire life cycle of fixed assets to ensure the reliability of accounting data, clarity of responsibilities, and availability of appropriate supporting documents.
Improve priority processes and controls while avoiding any unnecessary complexity or administrative burden.
Strengthen certain extra-financial and sustainability reporting processes, particularly regarding data accountability, validation, and documentation of evidence.
Provide operational support, training, and monitor action plans until their effective closure.
Project Management and Skill Transfer
Structure and coordinate transversal projects, associated governance bodies, and decision-making processes.
Mobilize stakeholders within GBNC, SIEM, and CIENC when common approaches create value.
Formalize methodologies, support local teams, and ensure effective skill transfer at the end of the mission.
Generally, perform any work within their level of competence.
The profile for the position is as follows:
More than 10 years of experience in management control and financial analysis (FP&A), performance management, commercial finance, business intelligence, categorical analysis, Finance function transformation, or continuous performance improvement (P&CI).
Solid experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, beverages, or any other commercially dynamic environment.
Proven experience in category performance analysis, Cost-to-Serve evaluation, profitability modeling, and business case development.
Good understanding of internal control systems and the governance of the fixed asset life cycle, with the ability to implement pragmatic and effective asset management practices.
Excellent skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and performance management. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, or similar tools is a plus.
Business-oriented, structured, autonomous, and pragmatic profile, capable of influencing and uniting senior-level interlocutors as well as transversal teams.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
