Internship - Low & No Alcohol (LoNo) Growth & Innovation

“Being part of the Innovation team at HEINEKEN gave me the opportunity to contribute to impactful global projects, while learning to navigate a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.”

The internship

Join the forefront of the beverage revolution! The LoNo (Low and No Alcohol) category is the fastest-growing segment in the industry. In this role, you will combine Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation to drive growth for our 0.0 portfolio and our exciting range of Low alcohol propositions (≤3.5% ABV).

What will you be working on?

• Analyze trends: You will dive into data to track the rapid rise of the "sober-curious" movement, covering everything from completely alcohol-free to lighter, sessionable options (≤3.5% ABV).

• Create impact: You will design high-quality, persuasive presentations and visual assets to communicate our LoNo strategy to stakeholders worldwide.

• Innovate with tech: You will leverage AI tools to streamline research, generate creative concepts, and stay ahead of the curve.

• Collaborate: You will work closely with the Global Commerce, Brand, and Innovation teams to roll out initiatives for brands like Heineken 0.0, Amstel Radler, and other low-alcohol innovations.

Your new team and workplace

The LoNo Category Growth & Innovation team is the heartbeat of HEINEKEN's most dynamic segment. We are responsible for normalizing moderation globally—making both 0.0 and Low alcohol choices (≤3.5%) the cool choice. We work in a high-energy environment where we challenge the status quo daily. You will join a diverse team that values fresh perspectives and proactive thinking.

During your internship, you’ll have every opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as an organization, not just within your own team, but across departments. We trust and empower you to work with an entrepreneurial mindset. At HEINEKEN, we love bringing the outside world in and welcome fresh, new ideas with open arms. Of course, we’ll make sure you get the guidance that suits you.

What a day in the internship could look like

You start your day with a coffee and a chat with the team before diving into the world of Low & No Alcohol drinks. One day you might be spotting the next big consumer trend, the next you're helping create a brand-new product concept that could end up on shelves in the future.

You'll work with people from different teams, from Marketing to Research & Development, learn how strong innovations are built, and help uncover the biggest growth opportunities in the category.

In between projects, there are plenty of chances to connect with colleagues, join intern events, and enjoy the occasional social gathering. No two days are the same, which is exactly what makes it fun
