Data Engineer Intern – Microsoft Fabric

Within the Data & Analytics structure, we are committed to developing a modern data platform based on Microsoft Fabric, where we work daily on pipelines, dataflows, notebooks, and data models to support analyses and business processes.

We are looking for a curious and motivated intern who wants to join us on this journey, helping to make the platform increasingly clear, organized, and effective. During the internship, you will have the opportunity to delve into the core of a real data platform, observing firsthand how data is collected, transformed, and made available for the business. You will work with us to understand existing flows, organize information, and build a structured vision of the data ecosystem, gaining a concrete understanding of how a data platform works in a corporate context.

You will particularly be involved in:

• understanding and representing the data flows present in the platform

• contributing to the creation of clear and accessible documentation

• supporting the organization of information related to data processes

• assisting the team in platform monitoring activities

• collaborating on improving the visibility and control over processes

This role is ideal for those who want to develop a concrete vision of the data world, going beyond just writing code and learning to understand how the different elements of an architecture integrate with each other and how it is governed and made sustainable over time for the organization.

The profile we are looking for is a student or recent graduate in quantitative disciplines, preferably STEM, with a foundation in SQL, an interest in the world of data and cloud platforms, and a good familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint, combined with curiosity, precision, and a desire to learn by working on real cases.
