Graduate Trainee – Financing & Advisory

Primary responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for financial modelling in support of advisory mandates, including supporting in development of bespoke financial models, conducting detailed scenario and sensitivity analysis, tracking relevant documentation and taking the financial model through audit.

• Interrogating the financial model for lending mandates, review and analysis of the financial model to support the preparation of financial analysis, credit applications and due diligence review;

• Providing day to day transaction support and managing internal processes relating to our business;

• Structuring and pricing of credit applications;

• Managing internal processes relating to all arranging and advisory business (e.g. updating databases, memo writing, completing relevant internal system-based processes including all financial data);

• Identifying potential marketing opportunities and preparing pitch and presentation materials (including reviewing feasibility studies, detailed analysis of financial models, statements, cashflows, etc.);

• Starting to establish a network of contacts at key clients and prospective clients;

• Staying abreast of developments in the Battery, Mining & Industries sector as well as current transactions and opportunities in the market;

• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment and strong commitment to the core values of Societe Generale
