Head of Advisory Solutions, Global Benefits

What the day will look like

The Global Benefits Head of Advisory Solutions provides expert, data-driven advice to multinational clients on a range of expertise to help clients design programmes, manage costs, develop funding strategies, manage vendors, address corporate transactions and deliver value. The role partners with client teams and insurers to design, implement and optimize benefit programs that are financially sustainable and aligned with client risk, cost and people objectives. The success of this role is measured through the ability to transform global benefits insights into a competitive differentiator that drives client retention, market expansion and tangible innovation.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor to multinational clients on employee benefits design, operations, financing and communications.

• Manage other experienced consultants in delivery of projects across benefits design, M&A, wellbeing, data& analytics, multinational pooling, captives and other areas.

• Act as the primary partner to Aon colleagues and subject matter experts to provide a unified, data-driven value proposition for most complex, multinational clients.

• Define and execute the advisory services roadmap for global benefits clients and broader regional needs.

• Foster innovation by continuously challenging efficacy of existing methodologies and tools and developing new solutions and data use cases.

• Manage development and delivery of innovative advisory solutions to key clients in the region.

• Support innovation through research, publications, ideation, new solutions development, strategic partnerships within the health solutions business, globally and regionally.

• Train and coach consultants in APAC countries to improve adoption of advisory solutions and support local broking and consulting services.

• Leverage available data to develop internal business intelligence tools that would help Aon achieve operational excellence and be thought leader in the market.

Additional Responsibilities

• Be responsible for financial, client and quality outcomes, track performance and report financial and operational performance regularly to management.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of analytics tools, methodologies, templates and best practices for global benefits consulting by integrating emerging data technologies and new methodologies.

• Support new business development, including proposal creation, RFP responses and presentations to prospective clients.

• Mentor and coach junior colleagues on analytical approaches, technical skills and client delivery standards.

• Monitor market, regulatory and vendor developments in global health and risk benefits, and share insights with clients and internal teams.

• Participate in internal or industry forums, webinars and thought leadership initiatives related to global benefits, analytics and funding strategies.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Minimum 15 years experience in consulting, broking, health insurance or healthcare analytics.

• Client management / experience presenting solutions to multiple senior stakeholders.

• Extensive experience working with data and analytics solutions.

• Superb problem-solving and communication skills.

• Proven leadership and entrepreneurship skills, highly motivated, self-driven, ability to multitask and work under pressure.
