Mid-Level, Senior
Job Description:
At DXC Technology, we help organisations use technology to solve real business challenges. With more than 130,000 colleagues across 60+ countries and over 60 years of experience, we work with a diverse range of customers to deliver, support and modernise critical business systems.
Our SAP team in the UK and Ireland is part of the wider DXC SAP Group, supporting customers across a variety of industries and helping them get the most from their SAP environments. We’re passionate about building diverse, inclusive teams and actively encourage applications from women, underrepresented groups, and neurodivergent candidates, with support and adjustments available throughout the hiring process.
We're now looking for an experienced SAP Treasury and Cash Management Consultant to join our established RunSAP FICO team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working closely with customers and colleagues, and using their SAP knowledge to make a genuine difference to the way businesses operate.
Due to the nature of the client environment, eligibility for security clearance is required for this role. To meet the current security requirements, candidates must be sole UK nationals and have lived and worked continuously in the UK for the past five years. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider dual nationals for this position.
About the role
You'll join a collaborative team providing ongoing SAP support to multiple customers, with the opportunity to get involved in project work when required.
Your main focus will be SAP Treasury and Cash Management, with additional FICO knowledge highly valued.
You'll be working with customers to understand their challenges, troubleshoot issues, provide practical solutions and help them get the most from their SAP systems.
The role will include a mixture of:
Providing advice and support around SAP Treasury, Cash Management and FICO processes
Working as a 3rd Line Support Consultant, investigating and resolving incidents and problems
Working closely with customer Finance and IT teams
Building strong relationships with both customers and colleagues
Understanding business requirements and translating them into practical SAP solutions
Supporting customer change and improvement initiatives
Participating in workshops and helping customers define their requirements
Producing functional specifications and solution designs
Working with technical teams on SAP configuration, ABAP, security and integrations
Developing and executing test plans
Supporting implementation and cutover activities
Helping customers understand and support new solutions after implementation
Getting involved in short-term projects, particularly around Treasury-related activities
What we're looking for
You don't need to have extensive experience across every area listed below. We're particularly interested in your core SAP Treasury knowledge, your ability to troubleshoot and support customers, and your willingness to continue developing your SAP expertise.
We're looking for someone with practical, hands-on experience in SAP Treasury and Cash Management who enjoys solving problems and supporting customers. You don't need to be an expert in every area — we're looking for someone with a solid foundation and the enthusiasm to continue developing their SAP expertise.
You'll ideally have a good understanding of Treasury processes covering areas such as:
Cash Management
Bank Account Management and reconciliation
Cash and Liquidity Management
Risk Management
Financial Instruments
Experience in any of the following would also be particularly useful:
SAP In-House Cash (IHC)
SAP Cash and Liquidity Management
SAP Cash Management in S/4HANA
SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC)
Bank Communication Management (BCM)
SAP Advanced Payment Management (APM)
FSCM Credit Management
Your FICO experience
Additional SAP Finance knowledge would be highly beneficial, particularly experience with:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
General Ledger
Asset Management
Period-end processes
Controlling
Cost Centre Accounting
Profit Centre Accounting
You'll also understand how SAP Finance and Treasury processes integrate with other SAP modules and external systems.
Experience troubleshooting integrations using technologies such as web services, IDocs and SFTP would be valuable.
We're also interested in candidates who have experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori, including areas such as CDS Views and OData.
More than technical skills
Technical knowledge is important, but so is the way you work with people.
You'll regularly work with Finance teams, business stakeholders, IT departments, customers and other SAP consultants, so we're looking for someone who can communicate clearly and build positive working relationships.
You'll also have opportunities to lead or contribute to customer workshops, helping to understand requirements and explain potential solutions in a way that makes sense to both technical and non-technical audiences.
If you enjoy taking a business problem, understanding what's really needed and then working with others to find the right SAP solution, you'll fit naturally into this role.
Qualifications and development
SAP certification would be an advantage, but it isn't essential.
If you're not currently certified but are committed to developing your SAP expertise, we'll support you on that journey.
We invest in our people through:
Structured induction and onboarding
Role-specific training
Mentoring and support
Career development opportunities
Sponsored professional qualifications where appropriate
Opportunities to broaden your SAP skills through customer and project work
We're interested in helping people build a long-term career, not simply filling a role.
Our culture
We want people to feel supported, respected and able to do their best work.
At DXC, we continue to develop our approach to equality, diversity and inclusion, with the aim of creating an environment where people can bring their experience, ideas and perspectives to the team.
You'll be joining an experienced SAP community where collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous development are encouraged.
Benefits
Alongside a competitive salary, DXC offers a flexible benefits package that allows you to tailor certain benefits to your circumstances.
Depending on your preferences, options can include:
Buying or selling annual leave
Private medical benefits
Dental insurance
Travel insurance
Access to Perks at Work, offering discounts on holidays, restaurants, activities, groceries and more
