• Experience balancing live-site management, feature delivery, and technical debt retirement.

• Experience designing, developing, debugging, and operating resilient distributed systems across thousands of compute nodes in multiple data centers.

What does success look like in your first 60-90 days?

• Ability to quickly learn the technical stack. This includes understanding OSS service mesh technologies (e.g. Envoy, Istio, NGINX), kubernetes, helm charts, spinnaker, load balancing, security groups. Developing a strong understanding of network technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, TLS termination, HTTP proxies is a must. Openness to working in an agile environment, delivering within milestones and dependency constraints, while focusing on quality coding, test coverage, high availability, and security.
