Tasks

As Lead Consultant SAP Public Sector Management (m/f/d), you play an important role in our company. You advise the management and management levels of our public sector clients. Within SAP (S/4HANA) implementation projects, you take on a key role for the professionally successful implementation of the project and are the point of contact for project management, project team and customer management for demanding or highly sensitive issues in the context of the PSM industry solution and related topics, such as budget management or funding management.

In particular, your task includes:

• Advising our customers on the transformation of their current ERP landscape with a focus on SAP Public Sector Management (PSM) - primarily in connection with SAP S/4HANA

• Responsibility for work packages in the various project phases of SAP (S/4HANA) implementation projects or in application management. This means that your diverse activities range from design, implementation (customizing), migration, functional and integration tests to production support training and 2nd level support

• Management of specialist teams in the context of the described work packages in the various project phases

• Central role in generating and securing new business

• Participation in bid teams to create and quality assurance of offers

• Takeover of (partial) project management

• Significant contribution to the development of our juniors in the context of SAP Public Sector Management (PSM)

Profil

You have a degree in economics, (business) informatics, mathematics; alternatively, you have a comparable education. In addition, you have gained at least seven years of relevant professional experience in designing and implementing SAP solutions in public sector accounting (FI/PSM/PSCD), taking on customer responsibility and managing project teams. You have acquired expert knowledge from several customer projects and have excellent experience in advising and professionally managing projects.

The following points complement your profile:

• Outstanding methodological knowledge in both classic and agile project environments

• Very good integrative system understanding and excellent knowledge in implementing (customizing) customer-relevant processes in SAP Public Sector Management (PSM) and related topics such as budget management or funding management

• Evidence of several years of responsible and creative participation in (S/4HANA) implementation projects or in public sector application management

• Experience in managing or managing projects (sub-projects)

• Knowledge of accounting and public administration processes

• Knowledge of SAP PSM and related modules (FI/CO) as well as experience with SAP Fiori (UI5)

• Distinctive market and competition knowledge as well as an understanding of the latest SAP technologies (SAP-HANA, cloud solutions, etc.)

• Identifying and taking advantage of talent cross-selling opportunities

• Enjoyment of advising our external customers and the associated willingness to travel (at least 50-75%), primarily within Germany

• Very good German and English language skills (CEF level C1 or B2)

This position is also available on a part-time basis.
