Our apprenticeship is divided into basic training at the Berufsbildungswerk Nordhessen in Kassel with attendance days with us. From the second year of training, you will be deployed at the site in the specialist departments of production, assembly, quality assurance, maintenance, customer service, test stands, and technical-logistical support. There you will acquire extensive knowledge and skills for working as an industrial mechanic (all genders). Since social interaction is also very important to us, events such as family days, joint technical excursions and trade fair visits, and flight hours with an ultralight aircraft are firmly on our schedule.

Internal tutoring is available.

What you bring:

• You have at least a good secondary school leaving certificate or an (technical) Abitur

• Your manual skills and your interest in technology characterize you

• You have good spatial imagination

• You are familiar with common MS-Office programs

• As a team player, your team can rely on you

• You perform your work reliably and carefully

• Your very good German language skills and at least basic English skills and the willingness to deepen them complete your profile

After completing your apprenticeship, you have various further training opportunities, e.g. as

• Master, technician or Bachelor of Engineering (all genders)

• Certifying Staff (all genders), i.e. inspection personnel in aviation

• NDT inspector (all genders), i.e. inspector for non-destructive material testing

The regular training period is 3.5 years. With very good performance or due to appropriate schooling, early admission to the final examination at the IHK is possible after 3 years.
