Linux internship

Purpose of the Position Support the Linux Operating Systems team in the operational, administrative, and documentation activities of corporate environments, contributing to the support of services, organization of technical knowledge, and continuous development of Linux infrastructure skills.

Main Activities

• Support the technical team in carrying out operational activities related to Linux environments.

• Perform screening, recording, and follow-up of low-complexity incidents, following established procedures and good practices.

• Assist in gathering evidence and information for incident analysis and troubleshooting.

• Support basic monitoring of Linux servers and services.

• Prepare, review, and update operating procedures, runbooks, knowledge bases, and technical documentation.

• Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to incidents, changes, and problems, following the organization's ITIL processes.

• Participate in inventory and control activities for infrastructure assets.

• Support the team in the execution of standardized operating routines and preventive maintenance activities.

• Accompany more experienced analysts in Linux administration activities for technical development and practical learning.

• Participate in operational monitoring meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desirable Knowledge

• Basic concepts of Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, or similar distributions).

• Linux command line basics.

• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks.

• Basic knowledge of virtualization will be considered differential.

• Familiarity with concepts of infrastructure, servers, and corporate services.

• Interest in automation and management tools for Linux environments.

• Interest in developing technical reading in English to consult international documentation, articles, manuals and knowledge bases.
