Job Purpose
To profitably grow the HEINEKEN Ireland draught portfolio in the On Trade channel through strong commercial execution, excellence at the point of purchase and the development of effective, long-term customer partnerships.
The role will manage an existing account base across the territory while identifying and developing new business opportunities. Success will come through understanding customer and consumer needs, using data and insights to identify growth opportunities, and working collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver sustainable category and revenue growth.
Territory
The role is field based and covers the North West of Ireland, primarily Donegal and Sligo, but not limited to these areas.
The role will involve regular time in trade, including customer visits and market observation, to understand customer needs, consumer habits, behaviours and occasions and translate these insights into commercial opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
Achieve volume, financial, quality and revenue growth targets within the territory through effective customer partnership and commercial execution.
Manage and develop an existing customer account base while identifying, acquiring and developing new business opportunities.
Develop territory-level sales and resource plans that identify, prioritise and leverage key commercial opportunities.
Develop Customer Account Plans to enable effective Joint Business Planning and long-term growth with customers.
Build and manage strong customer business relationships through the provision of consultative services to the On Trade, focused on:
Use data, customer information and consumer insights to identify opportunities, shape recommendations and grow category value.
Apply strong Revenue Growth Management principles to maximise profitable growth across the territory.
Implement and continuously update Territory and Joint Business Plans, identifying and removing barriers to execution.
Deliver excellence at the point of purchase and develop outlet quality in line with HEINEKEN Ireland quality standards, in partnership with the local Quality team.
Execute the channel activation plan in partnership with the Trade Marketing team.
Effectively respond to customer issues and service requests through collaboration with relevant internal departments.
Assess HIL and competitor programmes and provide relevant market and customer feedback to internal functions.
Collect and maintain accurate customer and market intelligence through regular time spent in trade, including observing consumer habits, behaviours and occasions.
Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, influencing effectively to deliver shared commercial objectives.
Work independently to manage and prioritise the territory while actively contributing as part of a wider team.
Demonstrate resilience, adaptability and a proactive approach in a dynamic commercial environment.
Undertake any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Third-level business qualification (University degree) preferred.
Residing in or immediately adjacent to the territory.
2+ years' relevant sales experience, ideally with knowledge of the On Trade or FMCG environment.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and translate insight into profitable growth.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to achieve positive outcomes for both HEINEKEN Ireland and customers.
Proven ability to build successful business relationships and develop effective customer partnerships.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data, customer information and consumer insights to inform commercial decisions.
Excellent organisation, planning and prioritisation capabilities, with the ability to manage a territory independently.
Resilience and the ability to remain effective and solutions-focused in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Ability to operate effectively as an individual while also contributing positively as part of a wider team.
Demonstrated ability to work with and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
Expertise in point-of-purchase excellence, underpinned by a strong understanding of market, category and consumer drivers.
Proficient IT skills and an awareness of, and interest in, leveraging digital and social media platforms.
