Técnico/a de Riesgos (Madrid)
The Risk Management area is immersed in an exciting challenge to minimize the volatility of the Group's businesses, maximizing market opportunities and instruments. Through this position, you will be part of the exciting challenge of managing the risk generated by the Group's exposure to commodities and currencies and optimizing the profitability/risk ratio. You will be able to experience this new energy transition firsthand and be part of a company where you can develop your capabilities to the fullest, in a challenging and interesting work environment. In this context, we are looking for a Risk Technician (Madrid).
Your daily challenges will be focused on:

Functional and operational support for the Group's Market Risk function. Integration and analysis of the Group's position and each of its businesses, and monitoring and analysis of market risk metrics affecting them. Control of scenarios and backtesting of risk projections.

Evaluation of the impact on risk of new operations / contracts / business lines.

Active management of market risk through the proposal of mitigation measures.

Control and monitoring of market risk management limits.

Functional and operational support for the market risk management of Trading and arbitrage operations.

Continuous monitoring of commodity markets: Monitoring of market prices for optimization, proposal, and monitoring of hedges.
What you need:
Academic Qualification: Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Computer Science.
Mandatory Requirements:

Experience in energy markets (preferably gas or LNG businesses) of at least 1 year.

Intermediate/advanced computer skills: ability to automate calculation processes in Excel and/or Power BI, Office, etc.
Valuable Requirements:

Master's degree or related complementary training.

Other programming languages (such as Matlab, SQL, Python, R, etc.)

Knowledge of Power Automate and/or AI agents.
