Senior Technician, GQ Central Planning Planner

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Consolidate and validate loading, capacity, headcount, budget, cost and qualification readiness data from multiple sites and systems.

• Analyze utilization and identify bottlenecks, data gaps, trends, plan-versus-actual variances, and execution risks.

• Maintain and continuously improve planning dashboards, systems, reports, analytical models, assumptions, and readiness trackers.

• Independently lead global stakeholder meetings and drive alignment toward shared goals.

• Investigate and resolve non-routine issues, assess business impact and risks, recommend practical actions, and follow through to closure.

• Build repeatable, reliable workflows using AI or automation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, Python, SQL, VBA, Copilot, Claude, or other LLMs.

• Document standard workflows, share best practices, and mentor team members on established planning tools and methods.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or quality operations, with hands-on experience in capacity planning, report automation, data analytics, or process improvement.

• Proficiency in two or more relevant tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, UiPath, Python, SQL, VBA, Copilot, Claude, or other LLMs.

• Demonstrated ability to apply AI and automation tools to streamline repetitive workflows, improve reporting efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making.

• Ability to independently investigate non-routine issues, assess risks and business impact, and provide reliable, evidence-based recommendations.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
