Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MFT Axway Expert to join our team and play a key role in the modernization of our Managed File Transfer (MFT) ecosystem. You will contribute to integration projects and to the needs of business and technical teams on a complete Axway solution within the Axway Amplify suite.

You will:

• Lead scoping sessions with business stakeholders, assess integration needs, and propose secure, scalable file transfer solutions.

• Design, configure, and implement MFT flows end-to-end, ensuring consistency with architectural and security guidelines.

• Oversee and validate the transition to production, coordinating with RUN teams for handover and operational readiness.

• Ensure detailed documentation of each flow and maintain traceability for audit and support purposes.

• Manage and continuously improve the flow request intake tools and internal workflows (JIRA, ServiceNow, custom tools, etc.).

• Mentor junior project members and drive best practices across the team.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in interactions with internal teams and external partners.

• Identify opportunities for automation, performance improvements, or architectural enhancements.

This position is designed for seasoned professionals with proven experience in integration projects, Axway MFT tools, and enterprise-grade service delivery

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain MFT solutions using Axway Amplify, including:

• CFT (Cross File Transfer)

• SecureTransport

• Sentinel (for monitoring and reporting)

• Flow Manager (for configuration and governance)

• Define and apply best practices for secure and efficient file transfer operations.

• Engage with requesters to understand their needs and direct them to optimal solutions within our service offering

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to file transfers, connectivity, or Axway components.

• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams and users

• Participate in the design and execution of disaster recovery and high availability strategies for MFT.

• Support DevOps and automation efforts (scripting, CI/CD pipelines integration).

• Monitor system health and performance using Axway Sentinel and other tools.

• Demonstrate strong teamwork and mentoring skills, especially when supporting junior colleague

Profile

• Proven experience (5+ years) in Managed File Transfer (MFT) environments.

• Hands-on expertise with Axway products, especially:

  • CFT
  • SecureTransport
  • Sentinel
  • Flow Manager

• Strong understanding of MFT protocols:

  • PeSIT, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, S3, etc.

• Experience in system integration and secure communication with internal/external stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Axway Amplify platform architecture and its components.

• Ability to write and maintain shell scripts / automation tools (Bash, Python, etc.).

• Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux / AIX and Windows environments.

• Good knowledge of networking, PKI, certificates, and firewalls

Nice to Have

• Understanding of DevOps tools (Ansible, Git, etc.).

• Work with APIs

• French language proficiency is a plus.
