About the Role

As a Site Engineer in Ericsson’s FSO team, you will be on the frontline of network deployments—installing, upgrading, and maintaining radio, baseband, and IP equipment across rooftops, towers, data centers, and offshore windfarms. Ideal for engineering graduates looking to build strong field and safety skills.

What You Will Do

• Deployment & Installation: Perform site surveys, install, upgrade, and test base station/equipment-room solutions (Ericsson and major vendors).

• Cabling & Hardware: Execute power, fiber, and RF cabling; splice/test optical fibers; ensure clean equipment room layout.

• Commissioning & Support: Assist with network integration, basic verification checks, and accurate site documentation/as-built records.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct preventive maintenance, fault investigations, and emergency site restorations.

• Project & Stakeholder Coordination: Follow Ericsson quality/safety standards, coordinate on-site progress with PMs, customers, landlords, and sub-contractors.

Who We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related Engineering fields.

• Technical Basics: Foundational knowledge of mobile networks (RAN), IP networking, and basic electrical/cabling work.

• Mindset: Strong commitment to safety, high attention to detail, problem-solving drive, and resilience under pressure.

• Field Mobility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel frequently and work primarily in the field.
  • Comfortable working at heights (towers, rooftops) and physically handling equipment.
  • Flexible to work occasional night/weekend shifts for emergency maintenance.
  • Able to obtain required safety/site access certifications (including offshore).
