Your future duties and responsibilities:

At CGI Business Consulting, we are convinced that compliance is not simply and only a regulatory subject. It is a transformation issue for banks, insurers and all financial services players.

The requirements of supervisors are strengthening, regulations are evolving at a sustained pace, organizations are becoming more complex and expectations in terms of risk management have never been so high. In this context, our clients do not only ask us to interpret a regulation. They ask us when they need to define a trajectory, transform a system, structure a governance, lead a strategic regulatory program or address issues that have become critical for their organization. It is precisely on this type of problem that our consultants intervene.

Within the Business Unit Financial Services Consulting, you will join a team specialized in supporting the Compliance, Permanent Control and Operational Risk Departments of the main banking, insurance and social protection players. You will participate in management and organizational consulting missions aimed at designing, transforming and deploying robust, pragmatic and adapted control systems to meet the challenges of our clients.

What does everyday life really look like?

• Depending on your experience and skills, one week, you could support a Compliance Department in assessing the maturity of its permanent control system. A few months later, you could intervene on the transformation of a communication surveillance system, the implementation of a DORA roadmap, the redesign of a KYC journey or the definition of a product governance model between producers and distributors to better protect customers.

• You will work with compliance managers, operational risk and resilience teams, business departments, lawyers, IT experts or members of steering committees.

• You will be recruited to quickly understand the issues, structure the work, advance the subjects and directly contribute to the success of the transformations entrusted to our teams.

Your main responsibilities As part of your missions, you will be required to:

• Carry out organizational and operational diagnostics.

• Conduct impact analyses and maturity studies.

• Evaluate the gaps between existing systems and regulatory/market expectations.

• Design target organizations, processes and control systems.

• Define roadmaps and transformation plans.

• Structure and lead regulatory programs.

• Prepare and animate workshops and governance bodies.

• Coordinate the various business, compliance, risk, legal and IT stakeholders.

• Formalize business needs and support IT evolution projects.

• Produce the consulting deliverables necessary for decision-making.

• Support change management and the deployment of chosen solutions.

• Contribute to the preparation of regulatory inspections and the management of associated remediation plans.

• RCSA.

Internal control

• Permanent control.

• Governance of the three lines of defense.

• Level 1 and 2 control systems.

• Monitoring of control effectiveness.

• Continuous improvement of control systems.

You obviously do not intend to master all of these areas. We are primarily looking for consultants with solid expertise in one or more of these subjects, and wishing to progressively develop their scope of intervention within a multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• You have at least 3 years of experience acquired in a consulting firm;

• You have recognized expertise in one or more areas such as financial security, customer protection, permanent control, operational risks, regulatory compliance or operational resilience;

• You have already participated in transformation, compliance or evolution projects of control systems;

• You appreciate complex environments requiring interaction with various interlocutors (business, compliance, risks, IT, legal, management);

• You are comfortable in facilitating workshops, formalizing recommendations and producing deliverables for management;

• You are recognized for your analytical skills, rigor and curiosity;

• You have a professional level of English.
