IT Solution Architect – Telecommunications

Position Description:

In this strategic position, you will lead discussions on the modernization and transformation of enterprise solutions, primarily with our clients in the telecommunications and space sectors.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is a consultant with experience in system integration who is eager to continuously learn, engage, and mentor colleagues. You have strong analytical and communication skills, can handle complex legacy technical and process-related challenges, and are able to align the interests of multiple stakeholders. We expect integrity and a highly professional, responsible approach in an environment with strong demands on security and trust.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in telecommunications architecture and system integration, ideally within complex BSS/OSS environments.

• Understanding of the principles of modern telecom services and technologies, understanding arch. concepts of TMForum (CGI is a member).

• Solid grasp of enterprise application architectures, hands-on coding experience is not mandatory, but the ability to review, understand, and guide code and design standards is required.

• Strong knowledge of microservice architectures, API design, and integration patterns.

• Hands-on experience with large cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP), including architecture design, migration, and integration.

• Understanding of modern deployment models (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).

• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI, machine learning, and automation frameworks into telecom solutions.

• Ability to use UML modeling (Enterprise Architect, Archimate certifications are advantage).

• Fluent in Czech/Slovak and English
